EDITORIAL POLICY
Editorial Policy
This policy explains how Steal a Brainrot Helper creates and updates guides, calculator rules, trade values, exist counts, mutation data and trait information. The goal is to keep the site useful, transparent and easy to correct when the meta changes.
How We Build Values
Trade values are built from a mix of community knowledge, manual comparison, creator experience, observed trades, income thresholds, mutation rarity, trait demand, exist count data and feedback from experienced players.
Review Process
Value corrections submitted through the calculator are reviewed manually. We look for clear reasoning, repeated reports, market examples, screenshot context, Discord discussion, creator experience and whether the suggested value fits nearby items.
Approving a report does not mean every similar item will automatically change. Some reports are used as a signal, while others become direct database overrides after manual review.
What We Avoid
- We do not publish real-money buying or selling prices as official values.
- We do not automatically accept a value just because one player suggested it.
- We do not intentionally inflate values to benefit one player, creator, server or trade group.
- We do not treat the calculator as an official game source.
Corrections and Updates
The Steal a Brainrot meta changes often. When a value looks wrong, players can use the value report button inside the calculator or contact us with context. Useful reports should include the brainrot, mutation, traits, income, current calculator value, suggested value and the reason behind the correction.
Major site pages may be updated after patches, events, admin abuse sessions, new mutations, new traits, new OGs or major shifts in community demand.
Editorial Independence
Ads, sponsorships or affiliate campaigns do not decide trade values. Sponsored content, if present, should be separate from the calculator and editorial value explanations.
