SAB trading values are community reference scores built from four ingredients: exist count (the floor — scarcer means more valuable), mutation (a Phantom or Cyber variant multiplies the base), traits (OG traits add huge premiums), and live demand (events and content creators move prices weekly). The four layers of a brainrot's value
1. Base scarcity. Exist count sets the starting point — a ~355-copy Signore Carapace starts high, a 28-million-copy La Vacca starts near zero. 2. Mutation multiplier. The market pays a premium that grows with the mutation tier: Gold adds a little, Rainbow noticeably more, Cyber and Phantom the most. 3. Traits. Each trait adds a percentage premium; OG traits (Strawberry, Meowl) add the most, and stacked traits compound the effect. 4. Demand. A YouTube video, an Admin Abuse spawn wave or an update can move a value 30% in a day.
Why every value list disagrees
Values are decentralized — there is no official price feed. Different lists sample different sources: some track Discord trade channels, some track marketplace listings, some are pure opinion. That is why the same Griffin can be "worth" 120 on one list and 160 on another. The honest approach is to treat any list as a reference range, then verify against what trades are actually closing at right now. Our values are updated continuously against live market listings and marked with trend arrows when they move.
Market Points, not money
Most serious value lists (ours included) express values in Market Points — neutral comparison scores — rather than currency. The point is comparing trades: a 600-point brainrot is roughly worth two 300-point brainrots. Points sidestep regional pricing, marketplace fees and RMT questions, and stay stable as a comparison tool even when absolute prices swing.
