Steal a Brainrot Update 62 brings another important progression update, with Rebirth 19 finally arriving, a new defensive gear, fresh RNG Machine rewards and several changes to Lucky Blocks.

Unlike Update 61, which introduced major systems such as the RNG Machine and Bee Event, Update 62 appears more focused on improving existing features and giving experienced players something new to unlock.

The update also changes how RNG Machine Luck works during Admin Abuse and removes timers from all Lucky Blocks.

Rebirth 19 Is Finally Here

The biggest progression change in Update 62 is Rebirth 19.

Players who reach the new Rebirth level will unlock another slot inside their base.

That may sound simple, but an extra slot can be extremely valuable for endgame players. More space means another Brainrot generating income without needing to replace one of your existing units.

For players already sitting at the previous Rebirth limit, Update 62 finally gives them another reason to continue progressing.

Rebirth 19 also introduces a new piece of gear: the Grief Shield.

How the New Grief Shield Works

The Grief Shield gives the player a protective bubble capable of absorbing one hit.

Once another player attacks you, the shield blocks that hit and then shatters.

There is one important exception.

If you are stealing someone's Brainrot, the original owner can still hit you normally. The shield does not protect you from the person you are stealing from.

This prevents the item from becoming an easy way to ignore the base owner while escaping with their Brainrot.

Against other players, however, that first hit will be blocked.

The screenshot of the update also shows the shield visually as a transparent blue bubble surrounding the player.

Is This the Grief Guard From Sammy's Vote?

The mechanic is very similar to the Grief Guard Sammy recently showed in his community vote.

That concept was described as a bubble that blocks one hit before breaking, with the same exception for the original owner during a steal.

In Update 62, the final gear is being called the Grief Shield.

Two New Brainrots in the RNG Machine

The RNG Machine is also receiving new content instead of being left unchanged after Update 61.

Two new Brainrots are being added:

Their exact rarity, income and RNG odds will be worth checking once the updated reward pool is available.

Adding new rewards only one update after the RNG Machine launched also suggests Sammy plans to keep refreshing the system while it remains in the game.

Ritual Brainrots Are Joining the RNG Pool

There is another important change hidden in the update description.

Sammy says he has added lower-tier Ritual Brainrots to the RNG Machine.

Previously, Ritual Brainrots were mainly associated with completing specific rituals with other players and sacrificing the required units.

Now, at least some of the lower-tier ones will have another way to enter the game.

This could make certain Ritual Brainrots easier to obtain and may gradually increase their exist counts.

That does not mean every Ritual Brainrot is suddenly available from RNG. The announcement specifically refers to lower-tier Ritual Brainrots, so rarer ritual rewards should not be assumed to be included unless they appear in the machine.

RNG Machine Luck Is Changing

Update 62 also introduces an important rule for RNG Machine Luck.

RNG Luck will only be activated during Admin Abuse.

It will not be something players can simply purchase whenever they want.

This makes Admin Abuse sessions much more important for anyone trying to get the best possible results from the RNG Machine.

If you have a large amount of cash saved for spins, it may make sense to keep some of it ready for Admin Abuse instead of using everything during normal gameplay.

The exact Luck boost will depend on what Sammy activates during the event.

You Cannot Buy RNG Luck

The announcement specifically says that this Luck bonus is not purchasable.

That is an important distinction.

Players will not be able to spend Robux or normal cash to activate the special Admin Abuse Luck whenever they choose.

Instead, they need to be online while the bonus is active.

This should make RNG sessions during Admin Abuse much more chaotic, especially if thousands of players save their cash for the same period.

Lucky Block Timers Are Being Removed

One of the most useful quality-of-life changes in Update 62 involves Lucky Blocks.

Sammy confirmed that timers are being removed from all Lucky Blocks.

The update description does not give many more details about the change, but removing the timers should make the Lucky Block system feel faster and less dependent on waiting through countdowns.

This applies to all Lucky Blocks, not just one specific type.

Considering Sammy has also recently discussed possible future changes to the Secret Lucky Block, Lucky Blocks appear to be receiving more attention again.

What Could Change After Update 62?

Update 62 does not replace the RNG Machine.

Instead, it expands it.

That fits with Sammy's recent comments that the RNG Machine is expected to remain in the game for a while rather than disappearing immediately.

The addition of Candini Fluffini, La Fuse Machine and lower-tier Ritual Brainrots gives players more reasons to keep spinning, while Admin Abuse Luck creates specific moments where RNG farming becomes more attractive.

Rebirth 19 also gives high-level players another goal without forcing the game to introduce another large machine immediately.

What Is Still Unknown?

There are still a few details we need from the live update:

Those details can be added once Update 62 is fully live and players discover everything included.

Final Thoughts

Steal a Brainrot Update 62 is smaller than the launch of the RNG Machine, but it makes several systems much more interesting.

Rebirth 19 gives endgame players another base slot, while the new Grief Shield introduces an extra layer of protection without making stealing unfair for the original owner.

The RNG Machine is also getting fresh life with Candini Fluffini, La Fuse Machine and lower-tier Ritual Brainrots, while its strongest Luck bonuses will now be connected directly to Admin Abuse.

And with all Lucky Block timers being removed plus Sammy teasing “+ MORE,” there may still be a few surprises waiting inside Update 62.
